No Dogs Allowed... Lake George 2018
We have some catching up to do here at Wandering Hounds Central! So this will be a quick one with a few pictures and fewer words. Every year, a group of us descend upon the islands of Lake George for 10 days of good food, good company, and occasionally good weather.
Over the 10 days, we had about 36 hours of rain, and it all happened at once. The morning of the rainstorm, I woke up at about 4:30 to a red glow. Begrudgingly, I got out of bed and grabbed my camera and tripod.
The rain fell and didn't let up for a day and a half, but then the sun came out and stayed out. The lake was the warmest I have seen in 15 years of camping there, and all was well. I missed the Editor-in-Chief as she stayed at the hound hotel, but it was certainly worth the trip as it always is.
We'll have a few more posts incoming this weekend to catch up, and then we'll go back outside and do more wandering! Until then, snooze like a hound!
